Pressure inside the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter)
High-Level Explanation
This signal contains the measured pressure of the vehicle exhaust inside the diesel particulate filter in kiloPascals above atmospheric pressure (i.e. if this signal is 10 PSI, then the absolute measure of pressure is about 14.696 + 10 = 24.696 PSI, because standard atmospheric pressure is about 14.696 PSI), that is, it is the gage pressure of the exhaust gases as measured at the turbine intake of the turbocharger.
