There are currently three connection methods. AutoPi (hardware), Tesla direct connection, and SmartCar. Over time we will add more hardware and direct OEM connectivity options. You can learn more about this in
Some methods (SmartCar and AutoPi) may be combined for a single vehicle.
The most reliable connection method, vehicle data is streamed so there are no risks of data failures or delays.
DIMO makes data requests and pulls data once approximately every 4 hours.
DIMO makes data requests and pulls data once every few minutes.
🥇 Gold tier vehicles can generally access all DIMO features and have the richest quality and quantity of data.
🥈 Silver tier vehicles can access most DIMO features.
🥉 Bronze tier vehicles provide us with the lowest quality and quantity of data. Most vehicles in this level have yet to be fully decoded.
