chargeLimit

The maximum charge the battery should be charged up to hold.

High-Level Explanation

This signal gives the fraction of the total usable capacity that the battery should be charged to during charging sessions. The signal takes values between 0 and 1, where 0 is probably not an actual state that can occur (but would theoretically indicate not charging the battery), 1 indicates charging the battery to full battery, and, for example, 0.8 indicates charging the battery to 80% of the usable capacity.

Some Teslas may automatically adjust chargeLimit to 0.8 during a supercharge in order to reduce congestion, see https://www.tesla.com/support/supercharger
